COWBOY AND PREACHER — Released on digital and DVD September 15, 2020

Director Will Fraser Brings The Story of the Famous Evangelical Pastor Tri Robinson and His Message of Environmental Responsibility and Christianity To the Big Screen In This Insightful and Thought Provoking Documentary –

“With Dominion Comes Responsibility”

July 29, 2020 - London, England - On September 15, 2020, Ocean Avenue Entertainment and Director/Producer Will Fraser will release the much anticipated documentary COWBOY AND PREACHER:  THE LIFE AND TIMES OF TRI ROBINSON.

Not only will the film be available on DVD and VOD on all major platforms, Director Fraser and film subject Pastor Tri Robinson will also participate in a special live online event the day of release. This virtual round-table discussion will also feature prominent leaders in Conservative Christianity as well as Environmental and Creation Care communities, and allow viewers to participate in a Q&A.

COWBOY AND PREACHER shares the life of Tri Robinson, an evangelical pastor in Idaho who is also a life-long environmentalist.  Tri has battled throughout his life to try to get many people of faith to realize that being a conservative Christian and an environmentalist are not mutually exclusive. Most environmental films seem to be framed for a liberal audience – i.e. they preach to the converted. COWBOY AND PREACHER aims at unconverted, Christians who may not take creation-care seriously.

The film also offers liberals and non-Christians a fascinating portrayal of conservative evangelical life, values, and mindset. In an election year druing a pandemic, the film is exceptionally timely. Not only is the destruction of the environment one of the most important issue facings all people, but many American politicians and voters seem to be in denial about it. In the film we see Tri’s efforts to create a green conservative church and unite this idea with his life as a rancher, all while developing a Christian system of ideas that unites environmentalism with moral development and action.

 ABOUT PASTOR TRI ROBINSON

Tri Robinson communicates with a passion that embraces his diverse life experiences as the backdrop for the greater purpose to see the world changed for the better. At the very core of this cause is reformation on many fronts – a deep, authentic walk with God, innovative education, ethical godly leadership, and living a sustainable lifestyle that leaves a positive impact on the environment. Driven by a strong faith and passion for the Kingdom of God, Tri has given the greater part of his adult life to Christian leadership. After a profound life-changing experience in 1980 while working among the Karen Hill Tribe people on the border of Burma and Thailand, he and his wife Nancy made the decision that Tri would leave public education and enter fulltime ministry. They served for eight years as associate pastors for the Desert Vineyard in Lancaster, California. In 1989, they moved to Idaho to establish and build the Vineyard Christian Fellowship of Boise. Over the next 25 years Vineyard Boise grew into a strong outreaching church with a membership of about 3000 people. They have developed a 25 - acre campus of facilities which serves the community around them as well as the world’s poor.  www.trirobinson.org.

CHRIST IN YOU: THE VOICE — A Digital Streaming Worldwide Premiere

Bern, Switzerland (June 25, 2020) - The second film in the CHRIST IN YOU documentary series will launch during a special 4-night digital premiere from July 16 through 19. CHRIST IN YOU: THE VOICE is a captivating exploration of ordinary people who have committed to partner with the Holy Spirit to release God’s perspective, speaking words of prophecy wherever they go.

The film follows Christians who are open to speaking words of prophecy to anyone the Holy Spirit puts in their path, and shows life-changing encounters with the love of God. CHRIST IN YOU: The Voice includes interviews with Bill Johnson, Kris Vallotton, Lisa Bevere, John Bevere, Graham Cooke, Bob Hazlett, Raniero Cantalamessa and everyday people who provide wisdom in navigating towards a prophetic lifestyle.

While many in the west believe that Europe has become a secular state, the
CHRIST IN YOU films were created by a group of millennials from Switzerland, led by filmmakers Andrea di Meglio and Jonas Wiprächtiger, where a growing community of believers are claiming the gifts of the spirit listed in the New Testament.

“These films were made to show the body of Christ that everyone can move in the miraculous and to show the world that God is alive transforming people through His love,” explains di Meglio. “The devil has been using the media to spread lies, fear and bad news. We want to use this film to spread the Gospel and to empower the body of Christ. Stories of Hope like the ones shared in the CHRIST IN YOU movies could change the course of history.”

Chris Bueno, CEO of Ocean Avenue Entertainment, continues, “More than ever, our world needs to experience CHRIST IN YOU: The Voice. This movie inspires true hope and is the spiritual antidote for these disquieting times we live in right now. Ocean Avenue Entertainment is honored to release this film and excited to showcase it during this digital premiere.”

This special digital premiere of the film will occur from July 16 at 6:00pm ET through July 19 at midnight ET. Following the film, viewers will also  experience an exclusive virtual round-table discussion with faith-leaders. During this time, viewers will be able to discuss topics in a special chat area as they experience the powerful truths explored in the film.

FAITH, HOPE & LOVE PREMIERS ON NETFLIX

Ocean Avenue Entertainment announces the premier of FAITH, HOPE & LOVE on Netflix in North American, UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on February 4, 2020. According to film critic Jackie Cooper, “FAITH, HOPE & LOVE will dance its way into your heart.” He goes on…”When is the last time you saw a romantic comedy that was faith based? I don’t remember one. Usually faith based movies tend toward the more dramatic aspects of life. However, the new movie “Faith, Hope & Love” is a rom-com pure and simple and it delivers strong entertainment of that kind with an undertone of a Christian message.

This film operates on surprises. Who would have thought a Christian rom-com could be so entertaining. Who could have imagined Murgatroyd and Krantz could be so talented and charming. Who should have believed all the pieces would fit together so perfectly. Looking for the secret ingredient, well I guess it took a little faith, hope and love to bring this all together so successfully.

THE PURSUIT now on NETFLIX

Ocean Avenue Entertainment announces the premier of THE PURSUIT on Netflix in North America and India. An AEI documentary, follows Arthur Brooks around the globe. THE PURSUIT persuasivley shows viewers the overwhelmingly positive influence democratic capitalism has had on the world. But it’s not tendentious or sermonizing. The setting is more Bond film than lecture hall, jetting between set pieces in the teeming streets of Mumbai, the comfortable rowhouses of Copenhagen, and the Dalai Lama’s Buddhist monastery in the Himalayan foothills, featuring interviews with anti-capitalist street protestors in Barcelona and left-behind coal miners in Kentucky along the way. The picture it paints of global capitalism isn’t Pollyannaish, but one of steady material betterment — progress that could stall out if we forget what brought it about in the first place.

THE PURSUIT is available to stream on Netflix and for purchase on iTunes. Released earlier this year, it was a 2019 Official Selection for the Dallas International Film Festival, the Cleveland International Film Festival, and the Mountainfilm documentary festival.
